reconcile.’"
—Georgie Anne Geyer,
American journalist, April, 1990
"Here is the whole
appalling story of how Sun Myung Moon and his accountant

Rev.
and Mrs. Moon have
raised 13 children and now have over
30 grandchildren. Each of
their children have experienced
first hand the persecution, bigotry,
misunderstanding, and prejudice
of the society
at large toward their parents.
This reality is an
unfortunate hallmark of Rev. Moon's
experience as an internationally
renown religious leader. Learn more
about their growing family.

In 1991, Rev.
Moon met with the former leader of
North Korea, Kim Il Sung. Even
though Premier Kim was responsible
for Rev. Moon's imprisonment in
North Korea and for participating in
a failed assassination plot on his
life, the two put their Cold-War
enmities behind them and embraced
each other as brothers.
