As
a result of these special workshop
experiences, couples who resented
each other break through old barriers
and begin to love each other.
Distant and long-forgotten hurts
are repented and forgiven . Tears
of reconciliation flow. Conversation
becomes free and uninhibited;
sometimes just banter, sometimes
deep sharing. New friendships
are made; old acquaintances are
renewed.
During the final weeks
of the workshop, participants
can embrace the aweinspiring

River.
From the boat they can see crocodiles,
piranha, otters, monkeys and parrots.
An excursion up the Perdido River
reveals breath-taking waterfalls
and crystal-clear water teeming
with fish.
At the same time, these
trips are pilgrimages to places
where Reverend Moon spent long
days fishing in the jungle waters
and sleepless nights in prayer.
The stories about what he did
there create an intimacy with
the man that takes the participants
to a place of ultimate
meaning.
Indeed, for many who complete
the Ideal Family Workshop, memories
of Jardim evoke the timeless standard
of what life in heaven is meant
to be. |
