University Professors
Workshop in U.S.A. for the Unification of
Korea
The U.S.A. Workshop for
Korean Professors began in July, 1987. At
the early days of these workshops, professors
and university students collaborated in
boosting unification movements and shared
the awareness that professors and students
both should take on an active role in the
reunification of South and North Korea.
These workshops had the following purposes:
professors were encouraged to strengthen
their will to lay foundation for the Korean
reunification, to make analysis and discussion
on themes such as international politics
and courses of the unification, and to survey
Rev. Moon's international foundation in
America. These workshops were held 23 times
and overall participants amounted to 3750
Korean Professors.
